3/10/10 MY SWEET MISERY will be moving back into theaters on April 2nd, beginning with a 7 night run in Columbia, SC (April 12/07/09 It looks like MY SWEET MISERY will be moving on to more theaters in 2010. Details and dates will be forthcoming. Big, big thanks to Jerry Dalton and DPEC Studio, our theatrical distributor, for believing in and backing the film. 11/17/09 Thanks to everyone who came out to see the film during our initial 19 city run in Carmike theaters. We hope to play more theaters in 2010. In the meantime, the next chance to see MY SWEET MISERY will be at 5:00pm on December 3rd at the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival.11/04/09 MY SWEET MISERY opens on Friday at the Carmike 14 in Columbia, SC and at the Crossroads 16 in Conyers, GA (just outside of Atlanta). It will screen twice daily on the 6th, 7th, 10th and 12th in both cities. The film will also be playing in Orlando, Florida on Friday as an official selection of the Orlando Film Festival. If you're in or near any of these cities, we hope you'll come out to see the show!10/17/09 MY SWEET MISERY opened in 17 cities yesterday, and we've gotten our first official review. It's from nationally known reviewer Gary Wolcott, also known as "Mr. Movie," whose reviews appear on Atomictown.com, Rotten Tomatoes and in the Tri City Herald. Well, Mr. Movie loves our movie! We’ve got to hit the ground running because MY SWEET MISERY is hitting theaters! In addition to our festival appearances, the film will be released in theaters in 17 cities on October 16th, as the opening selection of Carmike Cinemas’ Independent Film Series. We’re thrilled and honored to open the series, and we hope you’ll find us in a city near you. Tickets for the Carmike screenings are only $5, and with enough audience support, MY SWEET MISERY will move on to more cities throughout the United States. The festival staff was wonderful (I love you, Jennifer Bratyanski), the event was first class, and the audience for our little screening nearly blew the roof off of the Regal Cinemas Park Terrace theater.
